POWER 4 PROGRESS
The Power for Progress initiative is designed to provideresources to develop, lead and/or participate in activities that increase electric load and provide economic/community growth and/or sustainability within their service territory. This effort is led by the Economic Development Committee on behalf of the member systems throughout Associated’s service territory.Some of the projects include Northwest Missouri State University Pellet Plant, Maryville, MO; The Children's Center, Maryville, MO; Worth County Partnership Library, Grant City, MO; and The EmPower Plant, St. Joseph, MO. This interest-free, pass-through loan program from the USDA played an important role in bringing these projects to fruition and making them successful.
